10th Anniversary Thinkpad Museum

This project was a departure from the Web-based ones Knowledge2Work usually picks up. The idea was to turn a boring corner in the Information Systems building into a display commemorating the Plan for the Class of 2000, the joint venture with IBM to supply students at Wake Forest with Thinkpad computers. Knowledge2Work's role was the centerpiece - an interactive presentation to go on a 1080p widescreen monitor donated by Sharp. The presentation also ended up dictating the design of the rest of the space, which ended up looking very nice.

The project was designed in Adobe Illustrator and then implemented in Flash. The soundtrack was comprised of voiceovers read by students and professors from the Drama department, and authored in a combintation of Audacity and Ableton Live. The presentation is started by an infrared trigger, tripped when a person steps up to the display.
